Description: 1999 Spirit of Youth Mural Project. Built Heritage [Community Development/ Pioneers]. Hard physical labour that cleared the way for settlement is the subject matter of this representational art work that provides distinct portraits of the multicultural reality of this heritage. Painted in a social realistic tone, the conquering of a rural river delta frontier exalts farming, fishing and forestry - the primary industries that provided the basic economic foundation for this region.
