Description: 1997 Road Safety Art Show: Are You Road Wise? [Premier's Youth Offices, Vancouver]. Responsible Driving [Driver Remorse/Commercial Art]. The work explores the legal aftermath of a serious traffic accident - more specifically, the psychology of driver remorse. Hallmarks of the composition include the use of interesting angles, somber mood and pit-like cell conditions, as well as, subliminal devices: the car key (freedom); customized licence plate, Way 2L8 (foreshadowing device) and compacted car cube (ego compression).
