Description: 1997 Earth Day Art Show: Speciocide [Surrey Place Mall]. Environmental Issues [Animal Testing/Species Extinction/Habitat Destruction]. A provocative work featuring a man - not clearly a victim or perpetrator - standing in front of a parched landscape holding the bloody remains of a ragged bird and a fistful of cash. Called into question is that simply monitoring or tagging species will protect them from poaching.
